When discussing religious topics, it's almost inevitable that disagreement will arise between people. As Christians, we try to handle them with as much grace and kindness as we can, knowing that a difference of opinion should not cause strife or division between us. But then sometimes you get the hecklers, the kind that love strife and reject all attempts at meaningful conversation, don't give a care about unity, and won't shut up. Scripture tells us,
As charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire, So is a contentious man to kindle strife. (Proverbs 26:21)
and concerning how we are to handle such people,
Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him. (Titus 3:10)
While we generally limit our dealings with such annoyances, we don't want anything intelligent that they do happen to say to go completely unanswered either. Rather than go endless rounds against people who show themselves unworthy of our time, which only feeds their egos or incites them to further bad behavior, we've set aside this space as a sort of dumping ground for all of their inane ranting so it can be properly disposed of. We'll concisely answer any of the tiny clumps of relevant substance that accidentally leak into their diatribes, and bury the remainder of their ceaseless ravings with the rest of the hazardous waste. Garbage will be sorted as best we can according to category:
